- The word Khitbah underlies the intentions of a man to seek a woman for proposing her to marry him. Although this does not mean that only man can propose a woman for marriage. - Istikharah is an important activity that is not mandatory but if fulfilled has infinite blessings from Allah. Salat-al-Istikharah is performing Raka’ah with a special Du’a which helps to guide a Muslim towards the right path. We have already talked about Salat-al-Istikharah in our previous articles.
