Nikah is one of the greatest blessings that Allah has bestowed upon both man and woman. Whenever a man feels lonely or perturbed, he can turn to his wife for love and comfort and vice versa. In so many ways a man needs a female partner, and similarly a woman needs a male partner. A single man or woman goes through life alone which becomes very difficult to survive on own, both physically and psychologically. On the other hand, a husband and wife share each other’s joys and hardships, participate both one another in everything, share intimate secrets, and unite in one of the most pleasurable activities.
As of now, A Muslim appreciates the blessings of being married to a much higher degree. Since there are too many obstacles one had to pass before getting married. The financial costs of getting married and then staying married is full of barriers, many seen and others unseen. In earlier times, it was very easy and peaceful to get married when Muslim women were satisfied wit their husbands teaching them Qur’an in the form of dowry.
Unfortunately. the realities if today have portrayed all the wrong things as right. These days, children do not see the Prophet’s companions as their role models. Their role models are the actors and false people who are engaged in in ignorant and Haram activities, those who are not obedient and who do not fear Allah. Today’s children are so blond that they fantasize themselves as the heroes and the heroines without considering if it is morally right or not.
O nation of Islam, to what have we sunk to? How is it that sins are now considered to be good deeds? Do we ever think about what we are going to say to our Lord tomorrow? What excuse do we have to save ourselves on the Day of Resurrection. Do we actually believe that only this wordy life is our forever? How and when did we sink so low that we are satisfied with such sinking? Do we never imagine of going to paradise and working for ti?
This is an invitation to every Muslim, to every person who loves Allah and who loves His Messenger and who loves the righteous believers to fear Allah regarding himself, his wife, and his children. While we strive to get rid of the hidden evils at our home , we must also work to raise the status of Early marriages in every Islam community. Let us strive to bring back the modest clothing and Hijab among women. let us learn to fulfill the rights of being a spouse at the right age instead of running from it. Let us look at Islam’s teachings as closely as we can.
