Zina in Islam in the Hereafter

The punishments for Zina covered in the previous articles talked about the rulings of Allah for married and unmarried adulterers and also the severe punishment in the grave. It is also important to note that a noble Muslim is the one who tried to modify his/ her actions according to what will please Allah. This comes out of knowledge and awareness of the rewards and punishments that Allah has set for the good and the bad deeds. Considering Zina, the punishment also prevails in the Hereafter for the sinners.

Since Zina is one of the major sins that has been highly prohibited in Islam, those who commit it are liable for a severe punishment in this life as well as in the Hereafter.

Citing a hadith to highlight the sayings of Allah,

“And they (the servants of the Most Merciful) do not commit Zina. And whoever should commit any of that will meet a full penalty. Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated.” [Al-Furqan 25:68-69]

After knowing how Allah treats those who indulge in Zina, it is very obvious that one must restrain from committing the same.

How to restrain oneself?

In our upcoming articles, we will be covering more enlightening topics to share further knowledge under Islamic jurisdiction with our readers. In shaa Allah!
