Qur’an says,
O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer. (Qur’an 4:1)
- In no case should a woman find it okay that his husband has the right to harm her physically, mentally, or emotionally.
- You will find happiness with a man whose heart beats with softness for you and prays for your Aakhirah. The man who has hidden objectives with you do not deserve your respect.
- A man should only marry a woman if he is ready to take the full responsibility of a woman. In case the husband is ignorant and does not contribute towards his responsibilities, then the woman has the right to raise her voice against the injustice.
- Marital relations should not be aimed for a single-side pleasure. The sole purpose should not be the extension of the family. But it should involve cuddling and lovely playfulness so as to make the wife feel special.
- The husband must try to keep the love growing taking the mutual responsibility of making a healthy relationship.
- The best trait to look in a wife is her Imaan. Inner beauty should always the priority of every man instead of outer beauty. So, a man has no right to insult his wife on her appearance publicly or personally
- The husband should make the household chores rigid to gender roles. Instead, he should be more cooperative in helping her wife do all the work.
- The husband should protect the chastity of his wife and must ensure that she is not looked upon by any evil eye.
