1. Qur’an is your only guide.
This is the book whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun; the pious and righteous people who fear Allah. (Qur’an 2:2)
In the dwindling and fleeting times like today, whenever you stand in doubt, turn to the book of Allah. it has answers you thought you will never find.
2. Walk on the path of Sunnah
Say if you love Allah, then follow me: Allah will love you and forgive your sins. Verily, Allah is forgiving and merciful. (Qur’an 3:31)
As Muslims, we are obliged to follow the path as shown by the Prophet (P.B.U.H.). We feel so disconnected in this world. But we forget the key to a peaceful life. As young Muslim couples and parents, you should try to be a role model for your children.
3. Hold gratitude in your heart for everything.
And whoever is grateful is grateful for the benefit of himself. (Qur’an 31:12)
It ha become our habit to complain about almost everything. the day we stop and start appreciating the blessings we have, life would be much easier.
4. Readily Forgive others
Learn to forgive and forbear. Do you not desire that Allah should forgive you? (Qur’an 24:22)
It is considered very bad to hold grudges in your heart for anyone. As Muslims, you should remember to forgive anyone who has hurt you before sleeping.
5. Always remain optimistic
Indeed Allah loves those who put their trust in Him. (Qur’an 3:159)
We often get disappointed with small hurdles in our daily lives. This turns into a bad environment at home and even with our spouses. Being grateful will keep you happy and will help you to spread positivity in your home.
6. Do little acts of goodness daily
So whoever does an atom’s weight of good will see it. (Qur’an 99:7)
It does not always have to be grand acts of goodness. Your heart and intentions must be synched so that you can pursue small acts of humanity in your daily lives. You will feel elevated in your character.
7. Accept life has good and bad times
And we test you with evil and with good as trial. And to us you will be retutrned. (Qur’an 21:35)
Lie is a mixture of good and bad times. We are always tested by ah and it is our faith in Him that helps us cross the bridge. Remember no time remains the same. There comes a rainbow only after rain.
8. Be responsible for your actions
You are only being recompensed for what you used to do. (Qur’an 52:16)
It is very immature of us if we fail to take the responsibility of our actions. Whatever we sow, we reap the same in return. So, let us try to do the best we can in our personal as well as work lives.
9. Hold on to the power of knowledge
My Lord! Keep enriching me with knowledge. (Qur’an 20:114)
Knowledge is more powerful than wealth. Those who have intellect do not fear the times of crisis. With knowledge, you cand deal with anything. So, aim for the knowledge that will help you in Duniya and Deen.
10. Keep good company
Friends on that day will be enemies of each other except the righteous. (Qur’an 43:67)
Friends play a very important role in our lives. We are shaped by people with whom we spent most of our time. So, it is important that we choose the right people. Choose friends who will you get closer to Allah.
